Public Goods Game

How the Game Works:

   Groups: You will be randomly assigned to a group of players.

   Endowment: Each round, you receive tokens (your endowment).

   Contribution Decision: You decide how many tokens to contribute to a group project (0 to your full endowment).

   Project Returns: All contributions to the project are multiplied by a factor (MPCR) and divided equally among all group members, regardless of how much each person contributed.

   Earnings: Your earnings each round = (tokens you kept) + (your share of project returns)

Strategy Considerations:

• If everyone contributes all tokens, the group as a whole earns the most.
• However, individuals might earn more by keeping their tokens while others contribute.
• This creates a social dilemma: what's best for the individual may conflict with what's best for the group.
